It´s just a week left to the showcase at LIPA and I can´t wait:D
Shout out if you want a ticket. They´re £3/£4 and I´m on at 5.30pm the 21st April!!!!!!!! It´s gonna be a great show with some surprises here and there;)

Yesterday, I had a photo shoot with Sunniva Lind Høverstad. The photo shoot took place in the Black Box at LIPA. We took photos for both CD cover and promo pictures. It went really good and I can´t wait for the pictures to be edited.
The theme for the pictures was to make them look elegant, but at the same time a bit childish. I will put some of them here on my blog as soon as they are ready.

Hi fellas:)

Here´s some pictures from my gig at Studio 2, Parr Street 30th January. The event was called Under The Influence and each band that were playing had to perform 2 songs by Joni Mitchell and 4 originals. It was a lovely night and a lot of people came:) Enjoy some of the pictures!!!

Happy new year everyone!!:D
It´s been way to long since I´ve updated this blog and it´s all my fault! Sorry!!!
For the last 3 weeks I´ve been home in Norway and enjoying my time with family and friends. For a music point of view I´ve been writing a new song and planning my last 5 months at LIPA...Quite a few gigs are coming up and studio sessions will also continue to the end of Feb. It´s really exiting times and also a lot of work for all of it to be done before moving back to Norway.

If you are interested in coming to one of my gigs this month, I will be playing at the Jacaranda Club in Slater Street 19th Jan and at the Cavern 22nd Jan. At the Cavern gig I will be playing the same night as Anna Lena and the Orchids and Monika May, which I am looking very much forward to!!!! Come around and check us all out if u got the chance:D

The 21st April I have my final performance in the PMA at LIPA. There will be a lot to work on before that date such as rehearsals, stage planning etc...But hopefully everything will be perfectly sorted out:) I´m really exited, ´cos I´m going to have a string quartet with me on stage and my good friend, Anders, back home has been helping me with the string arrangements and they sound wicked!!!! I´m also gonna bring along my lovely flatmate on harp, and off course my wonderful band who I have been working with all year! Since I know there are some Norwegian fellas reading this blog: If you´ve got the chance, please come all the way down to Liverpool to for my performance at LIPA. And if you have some questions about how to get etc, then shout out!!!

I promise I will update this blog continously from now on:)

What´s happening????

I´ve been a bit lazy with my blog lately and I apologize for this.... The reason is a lot of school work, rehearsals and studio sessions.
I´m really exited about the studio sessions. So far, we´ve had 3 studio sessions and all of them has been going really good. 6 songs are recorded with drums, bass and one of the guitars. The sound tech for this project is my beautiful mexican friend, Abe, and the producer who dared to put this project on his head, neck and shoulders is my norwegian friend, Pål Tore.
The plan is to record 10-11 of my own songs on an album. I can´t wait till the album is done and I can just sit back and enjoy it (and hopefully so can you).

Since last blog I´ve been playing at a venue in Liverpool called Korova. This venue has moved to upper down town of Liverpool and the place looks really good:) The event for the night was called Girlz Rock and obviously we were only girls playing that night. It turned out to be a really nice event and quite a lot of people showed up!

This upcoming Thursday I will be playing at Parr Street 3345 in Liverpool. It´s an acoustic gig and the bands that are playing with me on the same night are Kovacs and Monika May. They are both really good artists/bands and you should definitely check them out!!!

I´m kind of ashamed ´cos I haven´t introduced my lovely band yet in my blog!!!! Buuuuhhhh....
I first of all wanna say that I´m so happy to have a band that I have right now. They are all really good musicians and come up with a lot of great ideas for my songs....

On drums I have assistance from a norwegian control freak named Nils Hervig:) On bass a blonde, silent, but yet funny and smiley guy called Hans Kasen. On guitar I´ve got Jørgen, who´s a genuinly nice and talented guy. Also on guitar, Dan Croll, who I would like to call Superman:) and last but not least the talented Erica Van Drunen, who is playing on her huge keyboard!!!

Playing at Footasylum´s opening in Bold Street, Saturday 17th October. We played our set acoustic, which went really well. It was a great experience to play in the middle of the day in a shoe shop. A lot of fun:)
